Acne pants, ASOS shoes, vintage blouse and AA cardigan
Do you ever get so tired of outfit posts? Like when they build up in your reader until it's just 40 updates of portrait photos of samey-looking girls until you don't even notice what they're wearing? It becomes just a blur of "nice clothes" and your eyes can't even tell the difference. It happens in real life, too - last semester I was thoroughly wowed by all the crazy and inspiring stuff people were wearing around me in college. I stared wide-eyed at boys in skirts and girls in men's coats and took all these mental notes to try harder and be better-dressed at all times. And this term? I don't even care. Whoop-de-doo, you're wearing a some sort of feathered wingpiece, wow, how arty, congratulations. I'm happy enough doing my usual boring-black thing, for the moment at least. I rewatched Manhattan last week so I'll be stuck in a 1970s Diane Keaton mindset for at least another few weeks. Something will shake me out of my January rut soon enough, I'm sure. But until then? Outfit GIFs for days.

Also, my friend Lou has the same pants as me! We both got them at the Acne sale and we also both have pretty different styles (she wears all black, I wear mostly black, she wears blazers and oversized jumpers, I wear jackets and oversized cardigans... you see the distinction) so we thought we'd blog our takes on the same basic piece. Here she is, in non-GIF form, wearing them with a Zara top and Topshop boots.
Excellent, seriously need to get on this GIF-ing train.

The GIF is kinda hypnotic. And just a little creepy.
ReplyDeletehow do you make your picture move like that? very cool. Nice blog!

Loving the gif. It is indeed apparent you two lovely ladies have different styles, but both very interesting ones. The shoes you both chose show that: brogues v acne pistol copies. (I too own these beauties.) Great post.
